A 2-week trading competition scored across all three dimensions of how you trade: Volume, Open Interest, and PnL. One combined score, paid out as your share of entire activity on RISEx.
Format
- One combined score across three categories: Volume, Open Interest, PnL.
- Compete over the 2-week window. All three count toward your score automatically.
- Minimum $10k trading volume to register for the competition
- Minimum $100k trading volume to auto qualify for rewards.
How to enter
- Navigate to the "Competition" tab on rise.trade when competition begins.
- Trade at least $10k in volume to claim your username and register for the competition.
- Claim your username to register.
- Trade at least $100k in volume to qualify for rewards.
Scoring and payout
Your score is the average of your share in each of the three categories. Your share is calculated as total activity on RISEx during the competition period.
Score = (% Volume share + % OI share + % PnL share) / 3
- Volume share = your volume / total competition volume
- OI share = your time-weighted OI / total competition time-weighted OI
- PnL share = your positive PnL / total positive PnL. Losing traders score 0 on this third. Only profitable traders split the PnL component.
Only activity during the competition window counts. Positions held going into the competition are marked from the competition start (June 30 2026, 13:00 UTC) — volume, time-weighted OI, and PnL are all measured from that point onward. Any gains or activity before the start do not carry in.
Payout = your score x the prize pool.
Prizes
Main pool
Starts at $20,000, plus $5,000 for every $250,000,000 of total volume, uncapped.
The pool is stepped: it moves up one tier each time the venue's total volume crosses another $250M threshold ($750M, $1B, $1.25B, and so on), and holds at the current tier in between. It tracks total volume across all traders, not any single trader's volume.
Distributed pro-rata by combined score, per the formula above.
Lottery
- Separate $3,000 pool, split among 50 winners. +1 ticket per $1M of your volume. More trading, more entries.
Mystery points pool
An additional prize pool, denominated in points, is distributed at the end of the campaign.
RISEx World Cup jerseys
10 exclusive jerseys, awarded to 10 random winners.
Rewards are distributed with in 7 days after competition date.
What you do here carries forward
This is the last competition before Season 1. The window between now and launch is the one to make count.
Terms and conditions
- Participation is open to all RISEx traders active during the campaign window. By trading during the window, participants accept these terms.
- RISEx reserves the right to disqualify any participant or wallet at any time, with or without notice, for any conduct it considers abusive, manipulative, or contrary to the spirit of the campaign. This includes self matching, wash trading, circular flow, Sybil activity, multi accounting, exploiting bugs, or any attempt to game the ranking.
- RISEx reserves the right to amend, pause, extend, shorten, or cancel the campaign, and to change its mechanics, rewards, or timing, at any time and for any reason.
- Rewards associated with the campaign are subject to change and may be added, removed, or modified at the team's discretion. Nothing in this document constitutes a guarantee of any specific reward, benefit, or future entitlement.
- All decisions made by the RISEx team in relation to this campaign are final and binding.
- This campaign is not an offer of securities or a solicitation to invest. Trading derivatives carries significant risk, including the risk of total loss. Participants are responsible for ensuring participation is lawful in their jurisdiction and bear sole responsibility for their own trading decisions.
- Jersey winners must not reside in a restricted jurisdiction. If a selected winner is located in a restricted country, RISEx reserves the right to award that jersey to another candidate.
- Rewards will be credited within 7 days after the competition ends.
- For physical rewards such as jerseys, winners are responsible for any applicable taxes and import duties. RISEx is not liable for taxes or import duties on shipped items.
- These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable to RISEx operations. Where any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
